I hear you! I've had a long journey with goal setting and been through phases when the whole thing felt totally pointless.
But I've discovered a new way of approaching goal setting that truly resonates with me and might give you some hope as well.
This approach comes from the heart and requires you to take some time to reflect on what is truly important to you in your life.
The most amazing thing is that this is a process driven approach to goal setting NOT results driven.
Which means that through this process, your goals turn from some far off 'dream' to day to day practises and habits that make you love your life more right now.
So you can stop chasing rainbows because guess what?! Today IS the rainbow!

I truly feel that this is a huge problem for so many of us- we feel pressure to constantly achieve and when it comes down to it the things we are reaching for often are not even serving us in a truly meaningful way.
It's really sad that our society has come to this! But the great news is you have control over your own choices and you can choose not to make that your reality.
When I stopped approaching goals from a 'results' based place and started setting goals from the heart, this is what happened:
- I became so much more aligned with my customers and what they needed
- I could feel myself honestly and authentically connecting with people
- My days went from pressure to perform to calm acceptance and enjoyment
And I started to attract what I was putting out there. It's true, the people around you are a reflection of yourself.
So I urge you today, think hard about what you want that reflection to be. What you want yourself to be, your day to be like, the emotions you want to feel. I hope it will make a difference for you the same way it's made a difference for me.
