- June 2016 We launched to the world! A free Facebook Group that's now grown to over 12,000 strong - 2017 Our Membership launched! Over 100 Founding Members who've gone on to help us shape the Membership and many of whom remain an integral part of our community today 🙏🏼 - 2018 A rebrand from our original name The WE (women entrepreneurs) Network to She Owns It! My son Timmy is born, completing our wee whānau (or so we thought) ❤️ - 2019 We launched an exciting brand partnership with Facebook - 2020 Surprise!! We had another baby. In between lockdowns and world chaos, my second daughter Rosie was born- I now had three children, 6, 2 and newborn 🥴 - 2021- Today With over 800 Members in our Membership, I take a conscious step back from focussing on more growth to make it through Covid with my young family in tact! Celebrating still being in business, still supporting hundreds of incredible wāhine and looking forward to stepping things up a notch as we move to the next stage as a family and as a country too ❤️ |
Together, we facilitate a space of empathy, belonging, integrity, respect & aroha.
For the good of the whole we purposefully prioritise & promote our under represented wāhine & those facilitating movements that matter in Aotearoa |
We prioritise people & planet over profit.
We support small, we support local. We support sustainable, ethical business. We celebrate slow, manageable growth- business that supports a life, not the other way around |
We acknowledge that big or small our businesses matter.
With courage & support from each other we step into our own light to share our messages far and wide. We stand for our customers and our communities & we drive change for good. |
