You guys made this such an amazing night and I am so thankful to everyone who was involved! I had a major realisation in the lead up to this event- I was organising a networking event without ever having been to one or hosting an event before! Am I nuts? Urm yup. But I have to say these things are much easier when you have 2,500 high skilled women up your sleeve to call on for help 😂. There are a heap of amazing women to thank and I will tell you one thing- the generosity of all of them totally blew me away. I don't feel like I could ever do enough to pay them all back for their time, effort and offerings 🙏. I wanted to share a couple of sponsor stories with you to help you get a feel for how special these women are. So here goes! Jess from Le Monde Home PonsonbyWhen I first mentioned I was thinking of holding an event, I put the call out for help with a venue. Jess popped up and offered us the use of her stunning homewares store, and I was so pleased. I really wanted to make the evening feel like a bit of a treat for our lovely community, and the Le Monde store was the perfect place for that! Jess is a busy mum of two small children and she is the true example of a woman in business juggling a lot of balls. She has taken on so much and I am so impressed with everything she is achieving with Le Monde Home. Despite her busy schedule, she put so much time and effort in to helping us make our launch event a night to remember. A very special person and a very special store- thank you Jess! Alina from Wild & WhimI am a true sucker for a pretty Instagram Feed and I have been following Wild & Whim on Instagram for some time. I could just tell from the amazing style of her feed that Alina would put on a fantastic event. Alina is from Canada, new to NZ and is quickly establishing herself as a great event co-ordinator. Based in Tauranga she travelled up to Auckland for the evening and thank goodness for that! Her friendly, calm demeanour and ability to help me pull all of this together with a twist of style was so appreciate. Thank you so much Alina, can't wait to work with you again! Bex, Juliet and Nicky from Awesome IncI have watched the journey of the lovely ladies from Awesome Inc with interest and they have done amazing things even in the short time I have known them. These guys create the most beautiful gratitude journals, and help the world remember to practise gratitude on a daily basis. Nicky reached out to me to see if I would like Juliet to speak at our event and I jumped on the chance. Juliet is a registered Educational Psychologist and has a passion for the topic of resilience and its importance in our modern lives. She spoke on resilience in business and building a support network around you to help build that strength we all need to keep going. Thank you so much ladies, your contribution to the evening and to the WE Network is so appreciated 🙏. Keep an eye out next week for some more Sponsor Stories from the night and the winner of our Testimonial Spot Prize from Tara McGowan at 5 Star Admin!
