Tell us about your business. What is the problem that you solve and how do you solve it?
I am a life coach for women who are experiencing overwhelm due to the multiple roles that they juggle. They feel pulled in so many directions, and compromise their own needs and direction in life as a consequence.
I work with them to get clarity around their core priorities (what is most important to them in life) and align all aspects of their life with this.
I believe that overwhelm comes when we try to balance the different areas of our life, leading to constant compromise. When you align all areas of life with your core priorities, instead of compromise in all directions, each area of life can compliment the others.
Why did you start your business journey?
Because I refuse to accept that overwhelm is "just part of life"! I believe in not only the potential of people but in the potential of each person's life.
After a series of large life events including the death of my father and a miscarriage, I decided that I wanted more for my life. I took the time to get clear on what I wanted, and what we as a family want, from life and started the life alignment process. The difference in my life now, both in the day-to-day and the direction that we are going in, is phenomenal.
I have always been passionate about people development. From there I found my mission to empower women to find the potential within themselves and their own lives.
What has been your most effective way to get new customers for your business?
Authentic and personal connection - big or small. People buy from people. They buy from you and support you because they feel like they know like and trust you. This comes from taking the time to be present and there for your customers, potential customers, and network connections.
When you feel like you have a connection to someone (which may just come from something as small as a Facebook conversation, or bonding over you favourite flavour of ice cream on Instagram) you suddenly find yourself going out of your way to support and recommend that person and their business.
Take the time to engage with people in a real way, and they will be doing the same for you.

Tell us about your business low point. How did you empower yourself to push through it?
My low point in my business journey has been each time I hit a big roadblock or something didn't work out quite like I expected. What has gotten me through each time is two things:

The BEST bit about my business journey is every time a client has that a-ha moment, each time when they are surprised by their own progress, and mostly that moment when they realise that THEY are the ones that made that happen.

What is your ultimate dream for your business?
My ultimate dream is to be part of the change that sees women putting their needs and what they want for their lives at the top of the priority list.
