Are you trying to grow your audience? If so, you've got to listen in to today's interview with Wick Nixon- Author, Foodie, Mum & Founder of Wicked Wellbeing. Wick shares her secrets on how she grew a 4,500 strong email list and kicked off her business online.
Getting your business off the ground when you're a complete newby can be seriously overwhelming and let me tell you we've ALL been there before!

It's different for everyone but if you're new to marketing, have a bootstring budget and hardly any time it can feel like it is never going to happen for you.

The good news is, there are (amazing) women who have been there done that and are prepared to share a few tricks with you!

Wick Nixon, Founder of Wicked Wellbeing has done so many things right with her business and today she's shared her journey and tips with us.

Some key take aways:

- Wicks' passion for her business evolved over time- as did her products. The first few years have been about testing, seeing what works for her customers and also what works for her life

- Wick did an incredible challenge for her tribe which went viral when she shared it online. She hit a nerve by solving a problem for people, creating a very quick and easy free solution to help those people and offering it up as a challenge. Challenges are a hugely popular way to get people excited and a great way to kick start a mailing list

- Not everything has been smooth sailing. Wick launched an online product which flopped, she had positive feedback about the product but hadn't hit the nail on the head with how to promote it to her audience which was also still growing at that stage. It's a journey for all of us, don't be disheartened by flops! They often lead to bigger and better things

To add to this- I would say if you're thinking of running a challenge remember to align it closely with the end product or service you sell.

There is no point running a challenge on how to grow your Instagram account if your actual product is a course on productivity. Your challenge should be a clear leader to your product, so those who complete the challenge but want to know more or do more have clear direction from you of what to do next.

Great info thank you. Was wondering what program do you use for video conferencing?? I like how you can put your logo and name details on the screen.
